Episode 1 - Cult

It has been 8 months since Jason lost Amy and Iain Mullan was stabbed by Frank Stone, leaving him in a coma. Jason has been training with the mysterious Sakura, hunting down rogue demons who threaten the innocents while Mullan starts back at work, investigating a disturbance in a gothic nightclub.

Jason's latest vision leads him to a young girl called Emma, who finds herself involved with Elizabeth, the head of a support group for girls, but is there more going on?

In episode 2 of “Night is Day”, Jason meets Caitlyn, a young girl with healing powers. Caitlyn tells Jason that she knows where Amy is being kept but before she’ll tell him, she wants to know all about him. This leads to Jason revealing the truth behind his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Lucy and the tragic event that led them to break up. Meanwhile Mr. Philips sends out his nephew Scott to meet Mr. Alexander, an antiques dealer, about a supernatural knife. Tragedy strikes for one of our heroes.

Episode 3 - Family

Episode 3 finds Jason interrupting a jewel robbery by two inept thieves (guest star Colin McCredie), leading to an encounter with his long lost brother Michael. Michael hopes to convince Jason to break into a stately home to reclaim their Dad’s cross. Mullan is assigned to work with Inspector Billy Shipton by his superior, leading to a heated encounter regarding Mullan’s vendetta against Mr. Philips. A figure from Jason’s past returns.

Episode 4 - Demon

Night is Day series 2 continues at break neck speed with the introduction of Tara and Boyd, supervillains for hire! Tara has the ability to stop hearts with a sonic pulse; while Boyd can steal the powers of anybody he touches, leading Jason to a dramatic encounter with the duo to stop them from obtaining the necklace of souls. Mullan and Billy go undercover to find Scott Marshall in order to find our Mr. Philips’ ultimate plan.

Episode 5 - History

Faces from the past return to cause havoc in Jason’s life as Caitlyn returns to tell her side of the story, revealing how she got her powers and how dangerous her life has been thanks to her ex-boyfriend. Molly Dunn, Amy’s former lecturer, goes back to her reporting life to investigate Mr. Philips, putting her in a life threatening position! What has Amy, Jason’s former love, got to do with the end of the world?
