DAY 3 OF FILMING - GLASGOW SCI-FI - FILMMAKING IN SCOTLAND
Day 3 kicked off fantastically as we returned to the Dennistoun New Parish Church to wrap filming with Natalie Clark and Erin-Cait Gannon. Without giving too much away, a fight is involved between Jason, Mullan, a barman and a baseball bat! Everybody worked extremely hard to finish filming the action scene and everybody was great as usual. Once we finished inside the church we filmed Jason’s first scene with Sakura since her first appearance in the last episode of series 1. Eileen Young, who plays Sakura, is also the co-producer of series 2, and was delighted to be working with Chris Summers again!

We then moved to our production co-ordinator’s (Murdo Macleod) flat in Ibrox with Steven McEwan (Mullan) and Rachel Wisson (Clare) to film a dramatic scene between the pair. The shoot went off without a hitch and the pair were brilliant.

The day finished when we went back to the 13th Note and filmed a tense scene between Sloan and Mullan as Sloan shouts down Mullan for being aggressive and arrogant towards a suspect at a bar brawl! The dynamic of their partnership is also about to change when Inspector Billy Shipton (Paul Comrie) is introduced to the team.

On Sunday half the cast travelled to Linlithgow to meet with Gordon Jack of Jack Photography. While we won’t post all the photos, as they are going to be used in our promotional campaigns, DVD designs, website designs, posters etc, there’s a few below you can look at.
