As you can see, filming is well and truely under way! The above is a still from episode 1, “Cult”, where DCI Sloan (John Gaffney) meets the mysterious Elizabeth (Natalie Clark) and interrupts the Exodus support group for girls. Sloan is under the impression that Elizabeth’s associate is somehow connected to a series of missing girls in the city and sets out to investigate. When Jason (Chris Summers), overhears Mullan (Steven McEwan) talking to Sloan about the case, he decides to take matters into his own hands.
Day two, out of a planned three for episode 1, didn’t start as well as the Saturday. All of our cast and crew (30 people) were there as asked, prompt at 12pm. However, our contact at the Catwalk failed to be there on time to let us into the bar, so quickly thinking on our feet, we re-arranged the shoot. Jo, at The 13th Note in Kings Street near the Tron Theatre allowed us inside their bar and we managed to film the scenes.
Unfortunately we ended up running late due to having re-think how we shot the scenes, and throw in drunk football fans, and the rain, we’re 5 scenes short of being complete for episode 1. However we will pick this up on the 24th of May where we will officially wrap episode 1!
We’ve taken plenty of photos which we have uploaded to our bebo page and we are currently uploading them to the gallery on the site. We also have plenty behind the scenes footage that we are going to put together to make a 5 minute video to let you see what went on during filming episode 1 and we will be releasing teaser trailers from the episodes to keep you in suspense!
A big thanks to Jo at The 13th Note for saving our shoot, and a big thank you to the cast and crew and the magnificant dancers, led by Laura Adams, who participated in the shoot and had so much patience with us. Thank you.
Here are a few more photos to keep you amused while we upload them to the site!
The photos were taken by the talented Ian McFarlane. You can contact Ian at ianmcf79@gmail.com
