NIGHT IS DAY SERIES 2 DAY 1 PHOTOS - SCI-FI SET REPORT
Well day one of series 2 is officially “in the bag”! Despite traffic jams, football games and the immense summer heat, filming on series 2 of “Night is Day” kicked off at 12pm (ish!) at Murdo McLeod’s flat in Ibrox, Glasgow.
The cast and crew including Chris Summers, Rachel Wisson, John Gaffney, Nicki Fleming, Anna Walseth, Eileen Young, Rachel Wisson, Suzy Maxwell, Kai Young, Matt Stephens, David McKeitch, Elizabeth Freer, Ian McFarlane, Fraser Coull, Scott Campbell, Natalie Clark, Laura Blackhirst and Erin-Cait Gannon filled the small flat as we filmed a scene between Jason and Clare, Mullan’s wife. It was a tense scene between the two and I’m not giving anything away!
After we filmed that scene, we rehearsed the next seen and set off to the church in Dennistoun to film a scene where the evil Elizabeth is running a friendly support group for young girls who are lost and confused. Steven McEwan who plays Mullan, joined us on location, so we spent from all that time filming a few scenes until 9pm and then we left.
Everybody was extremely professional, organised, and fantastic to work with. There are high hopes for the cast and crew and filming this series is going to be challenging but very rewarding and fun.
