RIVER CITY FIGHT DIRECTOR JOINS NIGHT IS DAY - NEW CAST PROFILES
Carter Ferguson, a well respected fight co-ordinator who has worked on River City, Taggart, and the upcoming “28 Weeks Later” inspired short film, “The Rage” starring our very own Kris Summers, has joined the Night is Day team to help spruce up the action for the 7-part second series that will see Jason Mackenzie come face to face with his long lost brother, a girl with the power to heal whoever she touches and a gorgeous vampire!
We’re looking for MALE extras to join our series on the 11th of May at 12pm at the Catwalk in Glasgow. You must be aged 18-25 to participate. Email kai.young@nightisday.com if you’re interested.

Kris Baxter - Drug Dealer
After various extra roles Kris decided that he wanted to study acting and performance, so he enrolled at stow college and did a HND in acting and performing. Kris is with Real People Agency, and he has done an advert for Sky Sports, and he has done extra work in River City, Rebus, and a Metropolitan college advert.
This is Kris’ first ever speaking role, and he is excited and grateful to be part of the Night is Day series.
John Gaffney - Caitlyn’s Dad
Since 1985 John has been treading the boards in the search for his goal,
and he is really pleased and honoured to be taking part in the Night is Day project. John is looking forward to working with a brilliant cast
Arron Usher - Mr. Alexander
Arron Usher trained as an actor at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. TV credits include-King Jamie & the Angel (Ch 4), Ginger Nuts-documentary (STV), Around Scotland (BBC), and the Short film ‘Size Five’.
Arron is thrilled to be taking part in ‘Night is day’ the second series and can’t wait to start filming.
