HOODED CULT VS LIGHTNING VIGILANTES - BROOMHALL CASTLE - MENSTRIE WELCOMES SCI-FI SERIES
(Chris Summers who plays Glasgow’s superhero Jason Mackenzie, is caught off guard when Michael, played by Iain Clark, pulls a gun on him in episode 3)
Tuesday the 29th of July was one of our biggest, most ambitious shoots to date. The cast and crew went off to Broomhall Castle in Menstrie, Clackmannanshire, where Rachel Gunn, who reprises her role of Eda, the leader of the hooded cult, along with Crawford Young, Sean Anderson and John Gordon, professional judo wrestlers, play the members of the hooded cult who face off against Jason and Michael inside the castle.
Steven McEwan and Paul Comrie were also on set as Mullan and Billy are called to the castle to investigate a break-in, leading to a terrifying standoff which leads to disaster.
Filming wrapped just after 10.30pm and the cast and crew were knackered. Sandwhiches and pasta were on standby as we filmed a gruelling fight which was coordinated by professional fight director Carter Ferguson.
