After three weeks off from filming, the Night is Day team have been working around the clock to edit a teaser trailer for the series using clips from the first 3 episodes from series 2, as well as rehearsing big fights for episodes 3 and 4.

Sunday the 27th of July saw the team head off to the Red Road flat’s in Glasgow to film an explosive scene between DI Billy Shipton (Paul Comrie), DCI Mullan and police snitch James (Kevin Jamieson). James has seen something that may help Mullan and Billy get closer to finding out about Mr. Philips’ (Tam Toye) evil plan, but Billy isn’t comfortable with Mullan’s hands on approach.

The cast and crew worked extremely hard in the scorching heat while the scene was filmed, and a few of the local residents poked their heads out of their windows to watch what was going on.

Sunday night saw Lauren Moore and Nicki Fleming clash at G12 in Gilmour Hill as Carter Ferguson staged an amazing fight between the two, which we will film at the end of August.

Chris Summers, who is Glasgow’s own superhero, Jason Mackenzie, also rehearsed a massive fight that we filmed in Broomhall Castle in Menstrie on Tuesday night…
