LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLE! CARTER FERGUSON FIGHT DIRECTOR GILMOUR HILL
Carter Ferguson, a professional fight director for TV shows such as River City and Taggart, along with many film and theatre credits, joined the production of series 2 to ensure we have more dynamic, cutting edge, riskier fights this year. On Saturday the 15th of June, some of the production team including Kai Young, Eileen Young, Elizabeth Freer, Ian McFarlane, Chris Summers, Carter Ferguson and myself joined Crawford Young who appears throughout the series as different villains that Jason will face, and his kick ass associate, Sean Anderson, to co-ordinate two fights for episodes 2 and 3 of the series.
The first fight takes place in episode 2 and sees Jason using his powers properly for the first time against a drug dealer (Kris Baxter) inside a flat, which went well and will be exciting to film next weekend.
We then moved rooms at G12 at Glasgow University, and rehearsed a much bigger fight, which I am not going to spoil!
We’ve recorded the fight rehearsals and they are looking amazing, and thanks to Ian here is a wee peak at how it went!
