EDITING A TV SERIES - MORE PHOTOS - FILMING AHEAD - SCOTTISH SCI FI
With episode 1 now wrapped, it’s time to put all the footage together and make it look pretty, and more importantly, make sure it makes sense! This series we’re aiming for episodes that last 20-25 minutes, so if we do manage to sell it to a TV channel, they can easily show it somewhere in their schedule.
The first scene has now been edited with the proper sound added into the mix and it’s looking fantastic. We had a dance troupĂ© participating in the opening scene, as well as a judo wrestler, and even some friends were roped into taking part in what we hope will be a memorable opening sequence.
Now I need to take the rest of the scenes from the tapes and put them into the editing suite and I’ll spend every available minute editing the scenes together. Our next block of filming is the 7th and 8th of June where we will be filming scenes from episode 2 and 3, and we hope to finish filming episode 2 on the 21st and 22nd of June.
As previously mentioned, Gordon Jack, a professional press photographer, took some time out at his studio in Linlithgow and we took photos of half of the main cast, so here are some more photos of John Gaffney who plays DCI Sloan, Steven McEwan who plays DI Mullan, Paul Comrie who plays Inspector Shipton, Anna Walseth who plays Caitlyn and Chris Summers who is our superhero, Jason Mackenzie.
