Jason Mackenzie

Who is Jason Mackenzie? That's the question Amy asks after she meets our hero in the very first episode.

Jason is in his mid twenties and has lived in Glasgow all of his life. Just a year before the start of the series, Jason is left by his girlfriend after she realises he cannot deal with his anger issues. After winding up drunk, Jason is struck down by a car and is left in the hospita and breaks his legs.

Jason decides that his luck needs to change, and after months of looking for answers, Jason is contacted by a mysterious man, Ames. Ames agrees to give Jason the power of foresight to prevent him from suffering any more misfortune. However, now whenever Jason touches anybody, a force of electricity charges up in his body, and that passes into the person he touches. Jason also has painful visions of how that person is going to die and he must decide if he is strong enough to prevent their death. This of course means that Jason can never be physically close to anybody again. The path of the hero is never straight forward.

Chris Summers who plays Jason is 26, funny, intelligent and a great actor. A real rising talent, with experience in film, TV and the theatre, Chris plays a very convincing superhero and he will have you cheering him on when he's fighting to save us from the villains. Chris has featured in "River City", "The Rage", and the short film "Two and a Half Minutes"
