Inspector Billy Shipton

Billy Shipton is an extremely ambitious character, determined to have a great career in the police. He believes 100% in the role of the police in society. He believes in doing things to the letter of the law, to maintain the moral superiority he feels over the criminals he chases. Although he’s very organised and disciplined at work, his personal life is a bit of a shambles, mainly because of his obsession with work. He finds it nearly impossible to maintain a romantic relationship and doesn’t have any real friends outside family members. He sees himself as an essentially good guy, prepared to sacrifice his personal life for what he sees as the greater good.

Paul is 32 years old and is from Falkirk. Paul recently completed a 2 year acting course at Edinburgh’s Telford College last summer. Since then he has appeared in a variety of short films and appeared at the Edinburgh fringe in a play called “Tiny Dynamite”. Paul has also became a founding member of the Civil Disobedience theatre company, playing the lead role of Ned Weeks in their opening touring production of “The Normal Heart”.
