Who is Jason Mackenzie? A real Scottish Superhero!

Welcome to the world of "Night is Day", a unique self-funded sci-fi series from Scotland! The series takes you to a normal city, filled with superheros, supervillains, demons, vampires, and gangsters, filled with action, drama and stunning special effects.

Now in to its second series, the show continues to explore the world of Jason Mackenzie, Glasgow's superhero, who was once a down on-his-luck Glaswegian, left by his girlfriend, forcing him into depression which led him to being hospitalised by a horrific accident. From there Jason met Ames, a mysterious demon in human form, who gave Jason the power of a demon so he could fight to keep us safe.

For every good there is bad, and nobody is more evil than Mr. Philips, an evil businessman who has the world convinced he is a loving humanitarian researching a cure for cancer, when in fact he is determined to bring about the end of the world, using ancient rituals to allow evil demons to enter our world and rule forever.

Jason isn't alone in his fight against Mr. Philips as hard working DCI Charles Sloan and rough cop DI Iain Mullan are determined to do whatever it takes to lock Mr. Philips away forever. However they soon find out there is more evil in this world who will try to destroy anything that stands in their way.

Night is Day is created by Fraser Coull and produced by Silly Wee Films. Series 1 was produced by Kim Ferrie while series 2 is produced by Kai Young and Eileen Young. Every cast and crew member involved in the production have given up their time and we strive to prove that a quality, entertaining programme can be created with little money.

Series 1 is available to buy on DVD, which includes 6 episodes special features while series 2 is currently in post production. We will be releasing comic strips, webisodes and more trailers and previews for series 2 until the show is ready to be released on DVD.
