"Night is Day" explores the world of Jason Mackenzie, Glasgow's superhero, who was once a down on-his-luck Glaswegian, left by his girlfriend, forcing him to evaluate his life, deciding he has to change his fortunes. From there Jason meets Ames, a mysterious demon in human form, who gives Jason the power of a demon so he can fight to keep us safe.
Jason finds himself up against ASBO teens, gangsters, demons and the evil businessman, Mr. Philips, who has the world convinced that he is a hard working, honest humanitarian, while really Mr. Philips is plotting a bargain with rogue demons to bring about the end of the earth.
Hard working cops DCI Charles Sloan, DI Iain Mullan and Inspector Billy Shipton investigate every lead possible to link Mr. Philips with horrific crimes to save the world, while also investigating the mysterious Jason Mackenzie.
Join Jason as he meets the mysterious Sakura, his guide in the demon world, Caitlyn, a confused yet determined girl with the power to heal people, Lexi, a worthy adversary of Jason's wit and intelligence, and who also just happens to be vampire!
Described as the "Scottish Doctor Who", series 1 consists of 6 exciting episodes of sci-fi action on DVD while series 2 is made up of 7 episodes and is currently in post-production.

Night is Day is created by Fraser Coull and produced by Silly Wee Films. Series 1 was produced by Kim Ferrie while series 2 is produced by Kai Young and Eileen Young. Every cast and crew member involved in the production have given up their time and we strive to prove that a quality, entertaining programme can be created with little money.

Night is Day - The Movie is currently in pre-production and due to start filming in June 2010. A brand new story has been written to introduce Jason, Caitlyn, Mr. Philips, Sloan, Mullan and Frank to the audiences at the cinema.
